Witnessed a charter by King William of land in Burgin to the Abbey of Kinloss, dated 1180. Signed a charter granting the Church of Pollok to Paisley Abbey, dated between 1177 and 1199. Witnessed a charter by Alan, son of Walter, giving land to the Monastery of Paisley and dated 1180. Witnessed a charter by Richard, Bishop of Moray placed the Abbot, monks and possessions of Kinloss under his protection, dated 1187-1203. Witnessed a charter by Joceline, Bishop of Glasgown giving the lands of Burgin to the Abbey of Kinloss, dated about 1190. He married Helen |

Helias. There is a charter by which Eschina, the widow of Walter Fitz Alan, gave the land of Molla to Paisley Abbey, and witnessed by Robert de Polloc. It was also witnessed by Helya the Chaplain who may have been Helias (as he was Walter Fitz Alan's personal chaplain). This has to be dated as after 1177, when Walter Fitz Alan died. |

Robert de Polloc. He is said to have been a companion of Walter FitzAlan, the Steward of Scotland, founder of what was to become the Royal House of Stewart. According to "Early Pollock Charters": Witnessed a charter granted by Walter Fitz Alan founding the Monastary of Paisley and dated 1160. Witnessed a charter granted by King William the Lion confirming the Kirks of Bute to the Abbey of Paisley and dated after 1165. Witnessed a charter granted by Escina, widow of Walter Fitz Alan, giving land to Paisley Abbey and dated after 1177. Witnessed a charter by Alan, son of Walter, giving land to the Monastery of Paisley and dated 1180. |
